Volkswagen Golf VII by ABT

ABT Sportsline has introduced its upgrade program for the seventh-gen Golf yesterday in Geneva. The new Golf is certainly a desirable model among tuners just like all six previous generations. ABT first started working on the 1.2-liter TFSI engine and increased its output from 86 hp (64 kW) to 105 hp (78 kW). The 1.4-liter TFSI with its 140 hp (104 kW) wasn't left untouched as it was tweaked to produce 165 hp (123 kW).
The tuner focused on the 1.6 TDI and lifted its power from 105 hp (78 kW) to 125 hp (93 kW). The 2.0-liter TDI can develop 180 hp (134 kW), up from the standard 150 hp (111 kW), while the 2.0 TDI with its stock 184 hp (137 kW) can deliver 210 hp (156 kW).
ABT's styling kit brings a new front grille, front spoiler, headlight covers side skirts and mirror caps. The rear receives a four-tailpipe setup and a redesigned apron. Several 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels are available upon request, along with a suspension spring package.

Volkswagen Golf VII by RDX

RDX has developed a few aftermarket parts for the recently introduced Volkswagen Golf VII. The seventh generation of the Golf has only been on the market for a couple of months and it has already grabbed the attention of tuners. Aftermarket specialist RDX has prepared several parts to provide the German hatchback with a sportier appearance.
They offer a wide variety of products, starting with two different front spoilers, a set of eyebrows, restyled side skirts, a new roof spoiler and a custom rear apron. The two front spoilers and the rear one are manufactured from polyurethane plastics. All components are made in Germany.

Volkswagen Golf VI R by SchwabenFolia

Tuner SchwabenFolia has introduced an upgrade kit for the Volkswagen Golf VI R. The direct-injection 2.0-liter TSI gasoline engine has been tweaked to produce 330 hp (246 kW), representing a 64 hp (48 kW) increase over the standard output. It comes with a handmade custom exhaust system featuring a 90mm tube from turbo developed by F-Town Street Machines. This exhaust has two Capristo exhaust valves and generates 130 dB.
This Golf VI R has also been lowered thanks to the H & R suspension kit and rides on a set of CH 8x19 wheels wrapped around in 235/35 R19 Dunlop tires. The hot hatchback is wearing an Urban Taupe Matt metallic by Platinum Wrapping Film (PWF) which looks good aside from the tacky text above the exhaust pipes.

GOLF R WITH INVISIBILITY CLOAK by SCHWABENFOLIA

In place of his early six-cylinder engines in the R32 (so called because of 3.2-liter displacement), Volkswagen has not placed - as actually expected - the R36, but for ecological reasons the short and concise called Golf R with "discreet" 2 liters capacity, lower fuel consumption and more favorable carbon dioxide emissions. And nevertheless, the Golf R by Volkswagen with its 270 hp (or 199 kW) and 350 Nm of torque is the most powerful production Golf, at least so far.

Just such a Golf R has been taken to task by the tuner and car foiler SchwabenFolia from Korntal-Münchingen in Baden-Wurttemberg (north-west of Stuttgart). The team around the owner Sandro Columpsi has begun to give the "biter" from Wolfsburg more beef on his way by means of a power increase with additional 60 hp to now 330 hp. A significant share of this power increase has undoubtedly the special customized handmade (in the truest sense of the word) exhaust system with a 90 mm tube from turbo by F-Town Street Machines. The exhaust has two (!) Capristo exhaust valves, which are controlled by the MFA XP in the speedometer. The system is named Atomic Warbird and it strikes impressive 130 dB onto the eardrum...

The Golf R equipped with the adaptive electric chassis control DCC is also brought closer to the asphalt due to an H & R lowering. Then there are CH wheels - according to BBS with genes from motorsport - in the dimension of 8x19 inches in powder Dormant Fire Red High Gloss with 235/35-19 Dunlop tires to be mentioned in particular.
This Golf R customized by SchwabenFolia would not be as half as spectacular as he is, if it was not for the complete foliation in Urban Taupe Matt Metallic by PWF (Platinum Wrapping Film). The powerful Golf holds his forces consciously under the blanket in a perfectly-professional manner of a "stealth Biter".

Volkswagen Golf VI R by Cam Shaft and MTB

Cam Shaft and MTB have joined forces to create an upgrade kit for the Volkswagen Golf VI R. The Golf VI R will soon be phased out to make room for the seventh-gen model, but Cam Shaft and MTB decided to breathe new life into it by squeezing more power from the direct-injection 2.0-liter TSI gasoline engine.
In its standard configuration, this engine produces 266 hp (199 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) but MTB increased its output to 325 hp (242 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft). This was done via software optimization, platinum spark plugs and new downpipe including Sportkat.
It comes with F2000 brake discs from Tarox and sport brake pads, while H & R took care of the springs. OZ provided their Ultraleggera rims, and Cam Shaft installed the Electric Orange foil by BRUXSAFOL.

ELECTRIFIED GOLF R by CAM SHAFT

The counterpart to the BMW M GmbH and the quattro GmbH (Audi) is at VW Volkswagen R GmbH (formerly Volkswagen Individual GmbH), also with the headquarter in Wolfsburg, and it was (re)founded in 2010 with the objective of the individualization of the R models Golf, Passat and Scirocco. Now, the from 2008 till present available Golf VI R with its "renovated" 4-cylinder engine along with an exhaust turbocharger is by nature not a child of sorrow, because the 1.984 cm³ already bring up 270 hp (199 kW) as well as 350 Nm max. Torque.

The firm CAM SHAFT from the Lower Rhine Kempen, which specializes in premium car wrapping, has curtly made such a VW Golf R to an object of desire again delivered a proof that every car can get a unique with undue effort. First - in cooperation with the firm MTB-vehicle engineering from Essen – the engine performance of the VW Golf R has been increased up to 325 hp and 430 Nm of Torque by means of their own software optimization level 2. Platinum spark plugs and a downpipe including Sportkat make their essential contribution to the furious forward thrust of the power machine. F2000 brake discs by Tarox and sport brake pads have the powerful and effective compact in its grip at any time. The springs by H & R and - as the connection between the car and road – the Ultraleggera rims by OZ with adequate tires have to be mentioned in particular.

The headline could really allow incorrect conclusions. What is meant is the foil called Electric Orange by BRUXSAFOL, with which the VW Golf R is foiled in a known professional manner by CAM SHAFT. A special type camouflage design stretching from the A-pillar towards the vehicle rear, of course absolutely irregular, does not miss a striking effect.

JMS Volkswagen Golf VII

JMS has released the first details about their upcoming styling program for the Volkswagen Golf VII. Starting with the exterior, the Walddorfhäslach-based tuner offers a front lip spoiler (€259) which gives the model an aggressive appearance. It mounts onto the standard front bumper and is held in place by screws and glue. For an even sportier appearance, the tuner offers a KW V1 inox coil over kit (€1,099) which reduces the ride height by 55mm at the front and 45mm at the rear. Volkswagen Golf GTI by BBM Motorsport

Even though the current sixth generation of the Volkswagen Golf is only a few weeks away from receiving a welcomed successor, there still are some tuners focusing on the outgoing model. A recent example would have to be BBM Motorsport that has taken the hotter GTI version of the Golf and made a few improvements here and there. The German tuners have remapped the engine's ECU and installed a custom exhaust system, all for the purpose of increasing the power output of the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine by 63 hp (46 kW / 64 PS) and 74 lb.-ft. (100 Nm), for a grand total of 271 hp (202 kW / 274 PS) and 280 lb.-ft. (380 Nm). More power requires a better braking system which is why the tuners at BBM Motorsport have installed StopTech red four-piston calipers, along with a beefed up suspension courtesy of KW. The Volkswagen Golf VI GTI now rides on a fresh new set of 20-inch alloys wrapped around in 235/30R20 rubbers. CFC-Styling was in charge of covering the car in a matte blue foil wrap, while carbon fiber was used for the hood, rear diffuser and the mirror caps.

Volkswagen Golf VI GTI by CFC StylingStation

It's an inevitable trend as we see more graphics companies specializing in custom car exterior vinyl foils turning into all out tuning shops. Undoubtedly, in interacting with their customers, the proprietors of these firms are recognizing the need to be a one-stop-shop for all of their customer's needs but without charging the heavily stuffed footballer prices.
German company CFC StylingStation is one of those small businesses who specializes in custom car exterior vinyl foils but has branched out. Now the firm from the city of Neuss on the left bank of the Rhine river wants to showcase its tuning chops with the Volkswagen Golf VI GTI.
To start, CFC has added to the body a Kerscher front bumper carbon-lip spoiler and 2.5cm widened fenders (together cost 800 euro), side sills, rear diffuser, mirror caps and engine cover all in carbon-fiber by Black-Gold-Design (set costs 1,200 euro).
The chassis is distinguished by two different wheel designs: pink ASA GT1 8.5x19 inch wheels on the one side and red ASA GT3 wheels in the same size on the other. Tires are Hankook EvoS1 225/35R19 (each wheel set costs 2,400 euro). The front wheel hubs receive Eibach spacers while the rear gets 5mm H&R wheel disks. APX AP coilovers (779 euro) in combination with H&R stabilizers ensure increased driving dynamics. The TÜV certified braking system (949 euro) includes 4-piston calipers, carbon-steel two-piece grooved brake discs and also an ultra light floating aluminum hub.
Under the hood CFC taps MR Car Design's turbo upgrade kit (2,200 euro) which includes downpipe and black tail pipe. Power is increased from 210 PS (155 kW / 207 hp) to a Golf R worthy 270 PS (199kW / 266 hp) and 400 Nm of torque.
And of course let's not forget CFC's specialty which gives the GTI a matt gray foiling (1,400 euro) while the roof is painted in High Gloss Carbon Black (550 euro). As a unique touch of contrast, the right side fender and front bumper grille is given a cartoonish collage design which CFC calls Sticker Bombing (250 euro).
Other upgrades include anthracitic colored tinted glass (248 euro), pink tinted fog-lights (50 euro) and a MK SoundStyle audio system which includes a Pioneer head unit, amplifiers by Mosconi, cabling by AIV, Rainbow speakers and Jehnert Doorboards.
When all is said and done, upgrades cost 12,900 euro not including the HiFi system which costs an additional 10,000 euro.
