Prior Design has introduced a new styling program for the Audi R8. Dubbed the GT850, the €24,900 ($32,140 / £19,785) package is designed to make the car look like the R8 GT3. As such, it includes a new front fascia with a carbon fiber splitter and revised intakes. There's also aerodynamic side skirts and a roof-mounted scoop. Lastly, there's a new rear bumper, a sporty diffuser and a prominent wing. Customers can also order a sports exhaust system and 20-inch ADV1 wheels with Continental tires. If you're looking for more power, the 4.2-liter V8 engine can be tuned to produce 475 HP (349 kW) or 565 HP (416 kW).
Porsche Boxster by Techart
Techart has revealed their initial customization program for the 2013 Porsche Boxster, before the world premiere which is scheduled in December at the 2012 Essen Motor Show. As you might have guessed, Techart offers a wide array of customization options for the new Boxster, including the tuner’s 21-inch Formula light alloy wheels that have a five-spoke design. They also have the Formula III forged wheels that adopt a dynamic double spoke design. Thanks to the forged alloy configuration, these wheels are up to 40 percent lighter than stock wheels. The twin tailpipes of the Boxster are manufactured from stainless steel and can be equipped with a custom muffler. Another way to go is to install the complete sport exhaust system with valve control. Another package available is the sport spring kit which brings the car closer to the ground by 30mm at the front and 20mm at the back. Upon customer request, the interior cabin of the Porsche Boxster can be fitted with a carbon fiber package, decorative stitching and a vast selection of leather options. We should also mention the three-spoke steering wheels and the custom paddle shifters.
Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Yachting by Kicherer
Kicherer has introduced their new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Yachting Edition. Looking tastefully restrained, the model features a Star Graphite exterior with carbon fiber accents and 20- / 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's premium leather upholstery, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and contrast piping. The twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine has been massaged to develop 625 PS (460 kW / 616 hp) and 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 100 PS (74 kW / 99 hp) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft). This enables the model to hit a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The tuner also installed a suspension lowering module, high-performance brakes and a limited slip differential.
Audi A1 quattro by ABT
German tuner ABT has decided to take a look at the limited-run Audi A1 quattro and see if they can make it even more impressive. While the standard model pumps out 256 HP (188 kW) from the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, this tuned version unleashes 307 HP (226 kW). The torque figure is also up from the standard 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) to 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) between 2,500 rpm and 5,000 rpm. As a consequence to this power hike, the A1 quattro is capable of doing the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.4 seconds, making it 0.3 seconds quicker than the stock model. According to ABT, this power boost does not have an impact on the pocket rocket’s fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
Lamborghini Aventador LP900 by DMC
Revealed for the first time back in March, the Lamborghini Aventador LP900 Molto Veloce by DMC brings not only visual changes to the Italian supercar but also a healthy power boost from the regular 700 HP (514 kW) to 900 HP (660 kW). On the design front, we notice the new look of the front spoiler and splitter lip that are mounted on the stock bumper and are manufactured from carbon fiber. The aerodynamic stability has been improved thanks to the new side skirts which DMC says that they act as diffusers. In addition, downforce has also been further improved by the carbon fiber rear diffuser and the added tunnel system, along with the rear wing spoiler. The changes do not end here as the engineers at DMC have decided to replace the overhead throttle valves with 12 custom single-intake throttle plates (one for each cylinder). The pressure modulators, injection nozzles, fuel lines and fuel pumps are some of the components that have been replaced by the tuner. While the stock exhaust system of the Lamborghini Aventador tips the scales at 34 kg, the new one weighs only 3.4 kg. The price tag for all these upgrades is 125,000 Euros (approximately $165,000). All parts are already on sale.
Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet by Gemballa
Gemballa has revealed a new aerodynamic package for the Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S Cabriolet that includes a new front bumper / spoiler section with three big cooling air intakes, as well as large lip spoilers. We also notice the deep side skirts, the new rear bumper that has a recessed panel, while between the triple outlet pipes of the custom stainless steel exhaust system sits a new diffuser. All of the new aerodynamic components are made from carbon fiber.
The entire package is offered for 19,860 Euros (VAT included) with paintwork and installation included. For an extra 9,895 Euros, Gemballa can offer 21-inch GForged-one alloys in either a gunmetal or a diamond cut finish which are actually lighter than the standard 20-inch wheels. This new set of alloys comes with 245/30ZR21 front tires and 305/25ZR21 rear tires.
Motivation comes from the 3.8-liter engine with 400 hp (298 kW) at 7,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 324 lb-ft (440 Nm) at 5,600 rpm. When fitted with the PDK transmission, it completes the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.7 seconds, en route to a top speed of 185 mph (299 km/h).
Mercedes SL-Class by Brabus
Brabus has introduced a new tuning program for the 2013 Mercedes SL-Class. Starting with the exterior, the model can be outfitted with a body kit that includes new bumpers, revised side skirts, front fender vents and a trunk-mounted spoiler. Customers can also order a sports exhaust system and Monoblock wheels that are available in sizes ranging from 18- to 20-inches. To spruce up the cabin, Brabus offers premium leather upholstery, illuminated sill plates, wood / carbon fiber trim and a new speedometer that tops out at 320 km/h or 360 km/h (200 mph or 225 mph). The SL500 (aka 550) can be equipped with a 520 PowerXtra CGI power kit which enables the twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine to produce 520 PS (382 kW / 512 hp) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the convertible to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250, 275 or 300 km/h (155, 172, 186 mph). The car can also be equipped with a limited-slip differential and a revised suspension with sport springs (on the SL 350) or a reprogrammed ABC (Active Body Control) module that reduces the ride height by approximately 25mm.
